#dailyquarantinecomic: May 2, 2020

July 12, 2020

One of my diary comics is in the new Queer Arts Fest zine!

A watercolour comic of obervations on a Sunday bike ride during the coronavirus pandemic. A skateboarder longingly stares at the skate park through a chain linked fence. More than a dozen cars line up at the Starbucks drive thru, a few of them stocked up with packs of toilet paper through the window. A couple practices riding their unicycles at a closed basketball court. The net is removed to discourage play. I ride my bike down an empty street with no handlebars. It gives me a small thrill every time I lift both hands into the air. Each time I let go. #dailyquarantinecomic is a series of diary comics reflecting everyday life during the coronavirus pandemic.
